Center for Cross-Cultural Communication
Who are we?
As Center for Cross-cultural communication — Kim Foundation, we have been introducing Islam to tourists from all over the world who visit our country in historical places that are the heart of our cultural heritage since our establishment in 2010.

These meetings take place in:
  • One-on-one conversations and presentations in the Suleymaniye Mosque in Fatih, Istanbul, our Foundation Center next to the Suleymaniye Manuscripts Library, Beyazıt Mosque, Sinan Erdebili Darwish Lodge next to Hagia Sophia Mosque, Rüstempaşa Mosque and the Islamic Experience Center in Sultanahmet,
  • Mihrimah Sultan, Valide-i Cedid and Büyük Çamlıca Mosques in Üsküdar,
  • Mevlana Museum in Konya and the building of the Ehli Sunnah Scholars Union,
  • Yivli Minare, Şehazade Korkut, Tekeli Mehmet Paşa in Antalya, and the Suleymaniye Kaleiçi Mosque in Alanya.
Our Story
Our founders participated in a two-week training on "How to introduce Islam in mosques" in 2010. During a similar program they attended abroad, they pondered how they could implement such a program in our country visited by millions of tourists every year. Thus, our adventure started in the Suleymaniye Mosque, one of the most tourist-dense mosques in Istanbul. Engaging conversations touched the lives of thousands of people over the course of 13 years.

Through our ongoing activities centered around the Suleymaniye, some of our visitors have overcome their prejudices about Islam, some have started researching about Islam, and others have found peace in Islam through these conversations.

After more than a decade, we have many dedicated volunteers who share the same vision with us. While the majority of our volunteers are university students, we have volunteers from a wide range of age groups from 15 to 75 who are eager to convey the message of Islam from heart to heart.
